We may very well be the happiest family in the entire world.  We laugh all the time, and the sweet glow of Christ’s presence is very real within our home.  Our kiddos are just so cute and as a result they are constantly smothered with an avalanche of cuddles, shnugs, and kisses.  It has been such a great pleasure to have children.  For the first ten years of our ministry it was just the two of us.  Those years certainly offered us a foundation of intimacy in our marriage that is rare within our generation, but, no matter how hard we try, we just can’t imagine not having kids.

Hudson Jack is our little chunk of big boyish love.  Spend five minutes with Hudson and you’ll be saying, “This little critter is all boy!  He’s a little squirmy worm with a shocking amount of energy.  He’s nearly four and he’s emerging as a true adventurer with the DNA of David Livingstone  and Ernest Shackleton.  He has such a soft heart for the least and spends a good deal of every day traveling in his rocket ship back and forth to Brazil and Haiti rescuing orphans and street kids.  He is a little warrior-poet in the making.  He has an imagination to rival Disney and a tenderness of heart to match Mother Theresa. Hudson is a sweet, curious, energetic, outgoing, zany character, and every day he delights our parental hearts with some new adorable display of cuteness.  He loves the zoo, the park, the malt shop, and Daddy’s time machine.  He loves to sing. And the fastest way into his heart is through a big red balloon (his favorite color).  He has huge brown eyes that take in everything.  Once you meet Hudson, you won’t forget him, and we thank God everyday for the blessing of his little life.  {more family pictures and videos}

Harper Grace arrived home from South Korea on July 18, 2007.  She is a super-sweet bundle of joy that God brought into our lives in an incredible and unexpected way.  To hear the story and see some great video {click here}.  She is now closing in on two years old.  She is wonderfully chubby and squeezable and is certainly a magnet for attention everywhere we go.  There is something so sweet and beautiful about her and she seems to know how to garner a shocking amount of coos and ahhs from the onlooking crowds.   Harper is definitely a little cuddle bug.  She loves to wiggle her little form onto our laps and into our embrace.  She loves affection and

she soaks up kisses like they are dew drops from Heaven.   Harper has brought nothing but sugar and spice and everything nice into our lives!

Unborn Baby Ludy is still, well, unborn.  In the picture to the left you will see a young girl named Bex (short for Rebekah).  And you will also notice that she is pregnant.  The story of how God brought this precious girl into our lives and how this little life inside her was hallmarked as the next little Ludy is worthy of becoming a book - it’s extraordinary.  Read Leslie’s blog entitled “Great Expectations” to learn more. {Click Here}
